Designed around a non-negotiable safety rule
The source is never deleted first. K-Mail creates a separate replacement, completes processing, validates decoding or FFprobe results, MIME, dimensions and file size, installs the validated file, commits accounting and history, and only then removes the staged source when policy allows.

Browse albums, favourites, archive and Recently Deleted. Find media using People, linked Contacts, Places, dates, detected objects, scenes and OCR text. Privacy controls keep biometric and AI indexing optional and administrator-governed.
Reports for users and administrators
Users can compare uploaded and stored bytes, review total savings and reversibility, and track queued work. Administrators can search users, review account and system-wide benefits, run dry estimates, enforce global or per-user quality policies, and pause or cancel pending work.
